The Wales Training Consortium provides opportunities for staff to develop their skills in a range of areas connected with accredited programmes.
Staff can train as tutors to deliver groupwork and individual programmes of work with offenders. Experienced tutors may progress to become Treatment Managers or Regional Trainers and will attend the more advanced courses related to these functions.
The consortium facilitates this training on a regional basis bringing together staff from all over Wales to train as accredited programme tutors. It also ensures that the training is delivered to the required standard and issues certificates to those tutors who successfully complete this training. |
